I have been a part of the London DJ community for over 10 years now. It has been a lot of fun but the fun wouldn't have existed without perseverance, diligence and commitment. Ever since I was 8 years old, after first knowing what a DJ was, I would pester my step dad to take me with him to one of his gigs. Sure enough the nagging paid off and by 11, I was mixing RnB tracks to a small crowd in a local pub. I remember drinking cranberry juice, playing Usher/R Kelly and Nelly. A guy came over and couldn't believe it was my playing the music. I will always remember that.

I spent a lot of my teenage years working; doing multiple paper rounds, being a waiter in an Indian restaurant, putting up potatoes in a greengrocer and tidying up at a football club. All of this experience at a young age drove me to pursuit my love of music. It provided me with enough money to buy my first decks and music equipment which is my pride and joy. When I couldn't afford my own equipment I would tag a long with two of my mates Myles James and Brad Francis. Myles has had an incredible dj career so far and will go on to play to masses. Brad has now steered more towards corporate events including wedding and so on. Both of them have been great influences to me.

Since then I have been a resident DJ in Watford playing in bars and clubs. The main two were Bed and Area which are now known as Twisted Monkey and Hydeout today. I have done a lot of mixing with my best mate Sammy G in the past. Together we ran our own club events for Sintillate and hosted our own radio shows weekly. Eventually we entered our mixes to Kiss Fm which resulted in us having them aired out for 4 weeks. My highlights from my djing career have all been spent with Sam. I have also been providing my own private DJ services for special occasions.

There have been many musical influences that have shape me into being a open minded character. My step dad would play Jungle, Garage and RnB to us as kids often turning a family BBQ in to a drum and bass rave. Him and my mum would have their own karaoke business together at one of our local pubs. My mum would sing and encourage people from her crowd to join her or go solo. Whilst we were under the careful eyes of our babysitter, my brothers / sisters and I would always want to go with them. This made me so curious on how to DJ.

Living in London means being diverse and this has allowed me to meet various music lovers from around the world. This wide variety of experience doesn't only come from the wonderful people that I meet, but also from playing to crowds in dark smokey nightclubs (and the more glamorous), weddings, private events, festivals, and working along side other producers and DJ's from London and around the world. I love what I do and have a real burning passion for music. I have always been a hard grafter and at 24 I have time on my hands to get my creativity across to as many people as possible. I pray that I become a bright prospect for the future of UK music scene.
